While food does provide quite a bit of the fluids we need each day, what we get from it varies considerably with the kind of food eaten. For instance, fruit gives more fluid than bread. Soups and stews provide more fluid than grills. So we need more fluids and the best of all is plain water. However, most people prefer to drink a variety of fluids throughout the day.

Many beverages add quite a bit to our calorie intake, so the label of each drink should be carefully perused to find out just what it contains. If there is sugar, it will translate to calories and you'll gain weight by consuming it. If you've just worked hard with your exercise regime to lose weight, it makes no sense to drink something that will put it all back on. Other drinks such as herbal teas have no calories - unless you add milk and sugar.

Some beverages have nutritional value. Fruit and vegetable juices and low-fat milk fall into this category; they may have some calories, but the nutrition they provide make it worthwhile. Soft drinks sweetened by sugar have no nutritional advantage and pile on the fat. Those that use artificial sweeteners may not make you gain weight, but they don't contain any nutrients either.

Keep your fluid intake up by getting drinking water home delivery along with renting a drinking water dispenser with Tranquil Water.
